A fast growing FMCG firm with double digit like-for-like growth, required an Account Manager to develop a high profile account. This person would have strong academics and a classic blue chip FMCG background and be able to adapt and thrive in a less process-driven, dynamic environment. Moreover. this person had to fit into the unique company culture and team dynamic.
Our client was looking for a very specific type of person and in order to identify if the person existed in the market we conducted extensive discussions with multiple touchpoints within our network. We further utilised our network to gain soft references for those currently outside of our immediate network before approaching individuals. This process enabled us to map the market, broaden our network and to identify a number of suitable candidates.
Within two weeks we had identified, interviewed and presented the client with a shortlist of candidates who had the required background, experience and personality. Within a week a candidate was offered and accepted the role.
