The thing that stood out for me was that you acted more
as career consultants as opposed to the traditional recruitment people I have worked with - importantly never pestered me when at work - always contacted me at a time that was suitable for me, and did not push me to do something I did not think was right for me. Importantly, continuing the relationship after getting me the new job is something that I think is vital.
  

I am always happy to take a BYT call, and they are first on my list when I'm looking for a new challenge. They are friendly, straight-talking, and efficient in their dealings and always have interesting opportunities in the pipeline. Finding a job isn't hard. Finding the job that's right for you - the job which excites you every morning, or at least most mornings - I think that's really hard. That's where BYT were different from the many other agencies I spoke to - they took the time to help me work out what I wanted to be (not a city banker, as it turned out!). Then they helped me with my interview technique - I was pretty out of practice. I can't imagine how many hours Jon and his colleagues spent with me, coaching and challenging me. I didn't get a job quickly, but I did get the right job. Which, after all, is what it's all about.
